What vacation?

Everyone’s posting pictures of their latest beach escapade and all I can do is wallow in envy and self-pity. Looking back at my blog entries even made me a bit sadder. Look at this excerpt from entry I posted after finishing my term paper for last sem:
I won’t probably be enrolling this summer since I think I’d like a vacation before hellfire and brimstone rains in June. That means I’ll have a blogging summer to enjoy - LifeSpy, Sugoi Stuff, and The Construct here I come! Oh yeah, and perhaps hit the beach!
Yeah, hit the beach. I never even saw a speck of sand this summer. And the only water I see would have come from the tap or the bottled water dispenser. Not even sexy bikini beach babes to ogle. Cry me a river. Tsk. At least there are some fresh Jessica Alba pictures to console myself with.
Blogging-wise, April marked a low point in the number of entries for this blog. And I haven’t really put much work on Sugoi Stuff, leaving it to my sis and the other members of Team Sugoi to keep that blog alive. And all I’ve done for the summer is blog for LifeSpy. Not that I’m complaining. I wouldn’t know what would’ve happened if I was still slaving as a corporate monkey when tragedy struck. I’m only too grateful to be problogging.
I just spent the day blogging again. And what sucks more is that the bills are starting to roll in one by one. Just received the credit card bills just this afternoon. Good thing the Kidney Institute accepted credit cards since they bought me sometime to refocus the artillery.
Jeez. All my entries so far are whining and moping while others are busy blogging on the elections. Call me Mopey. Or give me some cheese to go with my whine. Shit, ang corny.

Oh! I can so relate. It seems some people are destined not to have vacations.
