And the Avs move on!

Yes, and my very informal chronicle of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, following the journey of my favorite team - the Colorado Avalanche who will be moving on to Round 2 after disposing of the Minnesota Wild, 4 games to 2.

The series in retrospect, is a tale of players stepping up when it counts. Noteworthy - Jose Theodore who stood rock solid despite the Avs’ struggle to keep possession of the puck. Just in those six games, Theodore faced 200 shots, saving 94% and amazingly, almost impenetrable early on in most games. Avs captain, Super Joe Sakic notched another record holding the most overtime goals in the postseason.

Hurrah for the Avs!
