Vacation, beach, typhoon season: 24 years in the making

Just to give you an idea how pathetic my childhood was - our family never went on a decent vacation. No out of town trips to decent destinations. No beach trips. Not even a trip to a theme park.
Probably why I’m starting to overcompensate now. Now, that I have a bit of spending cash, I am finding myself deviating from my former miserly (and miserable self). Yes, in less than two weeks’ time myself and Team Sugoi and some of our dear friends will head out in our first out of town trip together. It will also be my first semblance of a vacation in 8 years.
I don’t care if it’s just before the start of the semester (as I won’t probably be taking classes this semester) or if it’s already typhoon season. Bolinao, here we come!

Off to the beach…
I am off to the beach with Team Sugoi and our friends for 3 days and 2 nights. No internet connection, no Cable TV, no computers. Just the sun, sand, surf, and good company.
I’m so excited, I think I overpacked.
