For centuries Marx might have been rolling in his grave.
There have been so many brilliant ideas by brilliant men. Social theories seem so perfect. The flaw remains that there is no allowance for the human factor.
So much for philosopher kings, social contracts and libertarianisms.

In a previous article, I have mentioned that Philippine labor laws have taken a backseat. Many other share this opinion as the Labor Code was signed way back in the former President Marcos’ era (talk about Makoy, it is Aquino Day today).

One of the first things I do in the morning is get my dose of news, usually from INQ7.net. After skimming the seemingly consistent stream of negative news in the headlines section, I move on to Infotech. As a kid, I used to go straight to the comics page or the Sports section. Now, since I’m working for an IT company, things changed.
I usually scan for items related to what I do as a marketing person i.e. the latest trends and large-scale movements within the international and local industry. Otherwise, I find so many interesting things written there.
There is this particular news today of a victim of identity theft which I aim to discuss.

Jumping beans. A simple amusement of kids ages three and up. I remember myself being amazed as a kid, seeing those colorful little plastic capsules standing on its end, rolling, tumbling as if they had lives of their own. It was only when I dissected one of them seeing how a little ball bearing that I realized that it was all there to it - a small ball shifting the capsules weight from inside, making the “bean” come alive.
