This is in line with my previous post. I love Raon (formerly called such, now it’s G. Puyat St.) and Quaipo for the assortment of cheap stuff you could buy there (Yup, that includes, in the words of the hawker, “Bago, mainit, pamapa-init, ser!” porno DVDs ). I love Raon because of the stretch of pro-audio stores located there. As for any commercial area, there are great ones, there are sucky ones.
Okay, it doesn’t take much to piss me off. But Sanjun music store can really piss anyone off with such attitudes they give to a customer. Here’s the anecdote:

Okay for Pinoy guitar afficionados who have been following the latest effects and accessories, you may have chanced upon the seemingly popular guitar effects brand Boston Engineering. It’s one of those great substitute brands for analog guitar effects.
I personally expected Behringer to be the one to kick Boss’ arse in the low-priced-great-sounding guitar effects but I think BE takes that spot. BE’s great for the budget conscious and delivers almost (if not) the same oomph as Boss effects. Well at least this would be from my experience with BE’s distortion effects. I personally have the HM-100 which goes toe to toe with Boss’ Metal Zone.

Okay, so finally I have my own domain! This will also be the permanent home of my blog. Hence, I’ll be closing down the rest of my blogs in a month’s time or so.
Anyway, here’s what I’ve been up to for the past few weeks.
- Departure from TechFactors Inc. - Effective Feb. 3, I’ll be no longer affiliated with TechFactors Inc. as a full-time employee, though I’m still rendering my services as a guest speaker/lecturer from time to time.
- Preparation for DECL - The reason behind my sudden career move. I’ll be joining the UP DECL faculty as an instructor this June.
- Problogging - For the meantime, I am doing a lot of things online. I’m handling content management of Lifespy.com. Plus, my pet project with the peeps is soon to launch with SugoiStuff.net.
